salut Cyrille,

Maybe the following will be helpful.
(MacBook Pro, 2.4 GHz Core 2 duo, OS 10.5.1, 2GB ram)

/Applications/Pd-0.40.3-extended-20071117.app running with no patch open:

PID COMMAND %CPU TIME #TH #PRTS #MREGS RPRVT RSHRD RSIZE VSIZE
  4784 pd 21.3% 0:37.54 6 98 288 4444K 4152K 12M 40

/Applications/Pd-0.40.3-extended-20071117.app with example pmpd #22 open
and gemwin open still not running:

PID COMMAND %CPU TIME #TH #PRTS #MREGS RPRVT RSHRD RSIZE VSIZE
  4784 pd 23.5% 2:09.90 6 129 422 10M 16M 23M 414M

/Applications/Pd-0.40.3-extended-20071117.app with example pmpd #22 open
and running:

PID COMMAND %CPU TIME #TH #PRTS #MREGS RPRVT RSHRD RSIZE VSIZE
  4784 pd 39.1% 3:32.09 6 129 423 11M 13M 23M 414M
