[PD] ngrid....?

hello.
I recently found [ngrid]. I'm an artist, not a programmer, and this tool
seems like something I want to modify into my set up, but I can't find much
about it except the source code in the cvs repository which I can't work
with. I am hoping someone on here can inform me further, maybe someone who
made it?
