I just tried installing
Pd-0.40.3-extended-20080512-ubuntu-hardy-i386.deb<http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/Pd-0.40.3-extended-20080512-ubuntu-hardy-i386.deb>on
a fresh install of Ubuntu Hardy, running the rt kernel. Well, almost
fresh; I installed all the packages for compiling Ardour 3.0, which includes
the latest jack stuff.

Not good results; pd terminates immediately as fallows:

I hope it is something obvious. I also tried all the other debian-related
packages (stable, unstable, ubuntu gutsy, for 0.41-4 as well), but gdeb
doesnt detect libgsl0 and I am stuck there. I have installed the apt
packages for libgsl0 and have also installed it from source, so I don't know
what it is really looking for.

rich
