release of P.i.D.i.P. 0.12.23
which is a release to improve camera support in pdp,
as says the log file :

  added pdp_v4l2 : video 4 linux 2 object
    code template from pdp_v4l and xawtv ( v4l2 driver ),
    thanks to Tom Schouten & Gerd Knorr <kraxel at bytesex.org>
  added pdp_ieee1394 : finally, the firewire camera object for linux
    written by Lluis Gomez i Bigorda ( <lluisgomez at hangar.org> )

for compiling the new pdp_ieee1394,
you need to install the libdv-devel on debian or ubuntu
( remark for Hans )..

also, there is no more tarballs on my website,
all the code is in SVN,
and if you want to install, i recommend
to install pd extended...

i think everybody should consider doing the same,
and avoid all these tarballs everywhere,
but as you like...
