the "menubar" thing is to hide the osx-specific menubar; that's why it 
is not working.
to hide the border (including window decoration) use the "border" message.

the [fullscreen 2( message on OSX is supposed to do exactly this (with 
dynamically assigned dimensions of course), but the above should work 
everywhere.
