[PD] s-abstractions get changed when used

About a month ago, I found that when I had a patch open, and used any of the
Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys, that it made the patch dirty. Is it
possible that you are hitting one of these keys while performing with that
patch? I think that Frank entered this into the Bug Tracker.
