[PD] mp3cast~ question

Hi,
Is anyone using this successfully?

I'm using the example setup in the mp3cast~ help file and everything  
seems to be set up correctly here, confirmed by these messages:

mp3cast~: connecting to port 8000
mp3cast~: logged in to localhost
mp3cast~ : using lame version : 3.98
mp3cast~ : lame initialization done. (1)
mp3cast~: initialising buffers
mp3cast~: mp3 streamer version 0.5, written by Yves Degoyon
  LAME mp3 settings:
    output sample rate: 44100 Hz
    bitrate: 128 kbit/s
    mode: stereo
    quality: 4
    mp3 chunk size: 2304
  server type is IceCast 2

However, when I open the stream on VLC, the VLC counter runs but  
there is no sound. This seems to be a only small glitch but I can't  
see what the problem is. Does anyone have any ideas/ suggestions?
