[PD] live input with GEM on OSX 10.5

Hi all,

 is anybody successfully using Gem with live camera input on a Mac
with OSX 10.5 and can provide information about the exact computer
model and the versions of Gem/pd/OSX ?

The systems here completly freeze when turning on live input with a DV
Camera attached via firewire on a MacBook and a G5 Desktop
Computer. Otherwise Gem and pd seem to be running fine on those
machines and they didn't freeze with 10.4.

In April Chris Clepper posted to this list concerning this issue in
response to a question of IOhannes Zmoeling and mentioned it was
working on his machine. I tried to contact him directly for
information but didn't get a response so far.

Any help is appreciated.
