[PD] Gem pix and PDP failure - tatiana works with many errors.

and of course it would be helpful to know when it works and when not 
(but then you would already have found the culprit yourself...)

i have zero idea what Tatiana is and how it is related to pdp and or Gem.

this is seems to be a bug in the useage of message-boxes;
i guess it is a problem with initialization (no "default" movie file 
specified).
it could also be a problem with directly clicking or banging or sending 
a non-symbol message to the [open $1( (connected to [pix_film])
(while you really should send it the filename to open *as a symbol*)
