[PD] Selectable Dimensions for Data Structures?

Is there a way to enlarge the selectable dimensions of graphical objects like [drawpolygon] and [filledpolygon], similar to the way the "size" option works in the properties for canvas?  I like the way elements of an array move when plotted, but it's always difficult to click that first graphical element.  Seems like only the tiny leftmost portion of a polygon is "clickable," regardless of size.
