Hi list
I woul'd like to write a GEM-external for capturing the sony PS3Eye webcam.
(Windows XP)

This usb webcam has very good specs : 640x480 @75 fps, 320x240 at 150fps,
with one-frame latence.
Initially, there was no driver for Windows, but AlexP hacked it and
wrote a DirectShow filter (<http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/3263/>)
and a SDK for writing videofilter without DirectShow
(<http://nuigroup.com/forums/viewthread/3284/>).

I could use this cam with pix_video and the Direct Show driver, but this
gives much latency (0.3 sec).
I really need very low latency.

I succeed in compiling pd-external examples, but I don't knon how to
compile a GEM external as an extra dll.
I'm using Dev-c++.
I'm quite a newbie in programming.

Any hints where to start ?
Anyone interested in doing the job ? (with more computer skills than me)
thanks

Jean-Yves
