[PD] Firewire 800 camera for GEM

hi,

I'm on the road and need to turn on my machine this week. so I'll send the
dmesg printout then.

there must be a lot of dmesg prints there...

I have gotten it working with no p[roblems or crashes in fedora11 at
320x240 at 75fps and 640x480 at 60fps, higher frame rates are not working ok,
dropping frames everyonce in a while.
the driver seems to be in a testing period though, so i'm kind of
skeptical...

there is also some stuff on the web about using other lenses and taking the
ir filter...
