[PD] vanilla, extended, svn and x86_64

Hey El Jay,

The best thing to do would be to break up your makefiles into patches  
using either 'diff -uw' or 'svn diff' and submit them to the patch  
tracker.  They should be organized by library, since different people  
maintain different libraries.
