i think a decent (with fpu) and completely free (like the
neo/freerunner) device does not exist.

but there are a few which are less unfree than the i-thing:

as far as i have heard, rjdj is currently ported to android.

the new nokia 900 uses also a more or less free system (maemo),
and pd already exists for the older (fpu-less) maemo based
"web-pads".

the "zii-egg" also uses a linux derivative, and should be
able to run pd.

maybe others.
