[PD] Free/open mobile platform for Pd?

Hallo!

I just got an android phone (linux) and was actually quite impressed.
It is very user-friendly and there are also good development tools (I 
did not program something so far, but I will ...)

However, I don't know how easy it is to port PD to android phones. The 
general platform is in java (because it should run hardware independent 
on many phones) and it's also possible to program in C - but then you 
maybe have to adjust your code manually to different phones ... I don't 
know ...

BTW, there are also thousands of applications already, see e.g. 
http://www.cyrket.com/, also some nice basic sound apps ...
