hi,

My setup is similar:

Ubuntu 9.10 RT kernel (finally a rt-kernel that is stable on ubuntu)
Firepod (Jack, Freebob)
Period/Buffers: 3
Frames/Period: 128

Now, i had to disable the wifi to avoid glitches:

rmmod ath9k
