[PD] pdstring?

morning all,

(almost missed this one; sorry)... this sounds very odd: I thought I had
eliminated all black magic (e.g. multi-object library,
class_addcreator(), etc.) from the pdstring externals during the
bytes|wchars re-factorization a while back... urgh... might have to do
with a static global flag i used as a workaround... no time to dig any
deeper now, but i'll put it on the todo list...

marmosets,
