until you get a real fix in Gem, you can use [pix_colormatrix] to fix the 
problem of red-green swap and blue-alpha swap :

     R G B A
   .--------
R | 0 1 0 0
G | 1 0 0 0
B | 0 0 0 1
A | 0 0 1 0

so you'd use list 0 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 1 0
if I'm interpreting [pix_colormatrix] correctly.
