now in the bugtracker, id 2998579

opening the help file for the [sel] object is one way to recreate this crash. but sel is not the only object

the patch you sent in feb with the [multiselect] object removed from the "related objects" subpatch does not solve the problem.

i do have (indirect, thought regular) access to several machines that run vista and/or windows7 for at least another month and could help in testing/debugging.
