Are you sure it depends on the region ? Looks like only the federal sales 
tax is applicable. Then is the tax cumulative on the duty ? That would 
make 5% + 18% + 5%*18% = 23,9%.

If the applicable sales tax does depend on region, then for Québec it 
would be 12,875% and together with the duty that is 12,875% + 18% + 
12,875%*18% = 33,1925%.

That is unless I'm unaware of other possible cases in the applicability of 
taxes per region...

btw the €/cad rate right now is the best ever, at 0,795 ! at last 
christmas it was only 0,66 ... that's quite a difference.
