on linux it will only work with nvidia GPUs and the nvidia proprietary
drivers and the value you pass one of those in nvidia's documentation.

on osx, FSAA should work regardless of hardware (i think).

on w32, FSAA cannot be controlled from within Gem.


i would suggest using your driver's way to set the FSAA (e.g. use
nvidia-settings; or fglrx-control; or whatever) rather than rely on Gem.

there is a reason why each driver comes with a specific tool to set
these kind of things rather than a single generic tool.
