[PD] resonator: Making resonances with Pure Data

Hi

Resonances for a string or tube are possible with delay_fbf~ and stereo_drift~
units from metastudio (see below). The trick is to use the "pitch" setting for
the delays, or [delpitch $1( if you are setting the pitch externally. Also,
depending on whether the tube is open at both ends or stopped at one end, you
can set the feedback to positive or negative respectively.

The impulse (e.g. noise bursts for wind instrument simulation) is up to the user
to implement. This is a good idea for a help-patch though.

best,
Ed

Subject: [PD] resonator: Making resonances with Pure Data

Hi,

I am looking for a way to simulate resonances in a tube. So a kind of resonator,
or something.

Maybe someone there already a patch to generate resonances?
