[PD] good video codec for gem+windows ?

hello,

I'm working with pd-extended 0.42.5 rc5 on a computer with windows vista
and pix_film is going very slow with .avi (dv-pal) or .mov (photo-jpeg)
files

I read somewher that pd-extended has to be build with quicktime support to
play well .mov files

did someone know where I could find such a
windows-pd-extended+quicktime-support ?

or maybe an advice for another video-codec alternative ?
