[PD] can't find mtx_*

I also run across another thread
http://www.mail-archive.com/pd-list@iem.at/msg37440.html which states
that [mtx_mul~] has been deprecated.  Yet, deprecated objects are
needed to be able to instantiate their replacements.  What gives?
