In the startup list, "gridflow" needs to be listed after "gem" and after
"pdp" so that those components work. Also make sure that your build of GF
does include GEM support. PDP support is a mandatory component in the
build, and starting with 9.12, GEM support also is. But they become
mandatory at build time for two reasons : they become optional at run
time, and they include their own copies of the headers (of GEM, PDP, and
now, the headers of Pd too). This means that you can build a full GF build
without even having Pd installed at all, and the build will still be able
to run with Pd, GEM and PDP.

BTW, did you get libv4l1 support in your GF build ? (there's currently no
v4l2 API support at this point in GF though... it only understands v4l2
through the v4l1 interface and only if you have libv4l1 support enabled)
