[PD] ugly fonts under pdextended 0.42.5

Not here. Iḿ on Fedora/KDE and I get good size fonts with console=12
(not 9) and canvas=16 (not 12).
There is a control structure in pc.tcl that turns console font size to
9 if tcl is 8.5. Maybe that is a problem in gnome, I don't know.
