[PD] Gem and video driver issue ?

Hello,

I installed Ubuntu Maverick on an old Thinkpad T42.
Before this I was using Gem on the same machine in Hardy...slow but working.
Now I can't create the Gemwin at all, I get:

pd: ../../radeon/radeon_cs_gem.c:181: cs_gem_write_reloc: Assertion
`boi->space_accounted' failed.
Pd: signal 6
socket receive error: Connection reset by peer (104)

and pd exits.

glxgears does work by the way...

any ideas?
