[PD] HID in Ubuntu 10.04

Thanks for your reply Hans. No, i didn't do anything at all! I just
installed plain Ubuntu 10.04, downloaded and installed Pd-extended 42.5, and
some ubuntu studio packages, period.
Do you think it's safe to update ubuntu, or is there a risk that it spoils
everything?

I think it's weird because i've read that hid access was getting more and
more restricted with new developments in linux.
