I have been chided off list for not attaching the file.  So here it is. It incorporates Moore and Glasberg's critical band formula.

I would add just for the the archive that the cmd line Pedro mentioned can
be execute automatically by qjack after startup.
see qjack options tab.

Hi all,
does anyone know who authored this patch
'dissonance_curves_mod.pd' ?

It's a dissonance curve calculator

Thanks, Rich

i cannot see any relation.

not that i know of.
however, it's always better to contact one of the various mailing lists
found at http://lists.puredata.info, either pd-list (for general
questions regarding pd and also Gem) or gem-dev (for very Gem-specific
developer questions), because more people will read your question and
the chance is higher some of them already experienced something similar.
e.g. personally, i don't use osx at all.
also questions and answers will be archived, so other people will be
able to find answers to their problems in the www.

Hello jack,

Strange bug indeed. Can you try to recompile msd following the
instructions in this thread:
http://grrrr.org/pipermail/flext/2010-September/000108.html
And please can you send a simplified version of your patch to see if i
can reproduce this here.

I never had such a bug... and i've used msd with "draw lines" on circles
in many occasions.

All the best
n

I just built from SVN externals/august/readanysf, didn't change
anything for the Intel build, and just the name on the PowerPC build.

I don't know, but I thought you mentioned in the past some issues that
were fixed in a newer version of gmerlin-avdecoder.
