[PD] need advice: i386 or amd64 for a new Debian installation?

Thanks Lorenzo, it works!
There's only a font-related problem: the font seems to be the right one, 
but has a strange behaviour with the borders of the objects (the pic 
attached explain better what I'm talking about).
