Thank you for the tip. I'm not really short on space. I 've made a 
Puredyne installment and I am giving the already installed and 
configured version of Pd a try.

Yes, that's a possible solution, but it turns into a problem sometimes 
when I work with graphics at the same time, but I will follow your 
advice whenever I can if I don't find a way to colour the background.
