[PD] pd not starting on fresh wheezy install -workaround?

Does anyone know a workaround to have pd working on wheezy? I have this 
problem:

This happens with packaged version, extended-0.43.1 nightly build for 
wheezy and compiled vanilla source.

Anyone know a workaround to have *some* working Pd?
I'm guessing it has something to do with those (non-existing) 
environment variables TCL_LIBRARY and TK_LIBRARY, but I can't seem to 
figure out a solution.

BTW: the packaged version doesn't list tk as a dependency and will fail 
with a wish not found error. Is that normal?
