Have a look at doc/3.audio.examples/B01.wavetables.pd as well as the rest of the "B" section.
These are accessible from the Help Browser ( <ctrl-b> shortcut ) -- just click "Pure Data" then "3.audio.examples"

>Subject: [PD] 1 second 44100 sample audio file into a wavetable
>I have a Technical question about making a 1 second
44100 sample audio file into a wavetable. Can puredata do
this? If so are there any examples? if not can someone recommend a
program to use for this? Is this the correct way to do this? I'm not
exactly sure I'm even using the correct terminology.
>What I'm trying to do is have the wavetable of a 1 second 44100 sample audio file controlled by a midi controller
>so I can adjust the pitch and amplitude using the midi controller.
>Some basic code I'm using is below. But how can I alter this to adjust the values for the audio file in a wavetable.
>Please Note that the audio file is created in matlab/octave so it's not an easily created signal using sin and cos functions.
