[PD] 0.43 on Ubuntu Lucid: GUI not right

I'm not sure I know what the tclpd-loader messages are, can you copy and
paste them to an email reply?

I think the right-click menu behavior is set by Tk to behave in a
"native" way, but I could be wrong.  I don't remember explicitly setting
that kind of behavior.
