[PD] [grid] not working in pd-extended 0.43.1

I downloaded pd-extended 0.43.1~cvs20120116-1 and added the [grid]
object. All goes well until I try to change the object's properties.
Pressing Ok, Cancel or Apply produces an "Error: invalid command name
"pd" message with the following error message:
