[PD] problems with pix_multiimage

I have a directory in the same directory as my patch called "pngs" in
it are 120 pngs named from 00000001.png to 00000120.png. I'm using
[open pngs/*.png 120( with pix_multiimage but it doesn't seem to be
opening them. When I try to select an image I get "error:
[pix_multiimage]: selection number too high: 31 (max num is 0)"

Any ideas? I've also tried using the full path but I get the same thing.
