STL is used in more different programmes than freetype, ffmpeg,
libquicktime and gmerlin together, and it's all written in hardcore C++.

And how many apps use Qt ? That's all C++ as well.

Boost is a library... no... it's a large collection of C++ libraries...
how many programmers use it ? There are 3000 people on the mailing-list,
and then, there are other people.

What does « fundamental » mean ?
