[PD] dsp processor for PD?

hi there, i've seen this dsp processors that run plug-ins for DAW and I
wonder if there are around any DSP processors out there that could take the
CPU load off the computer to run crazy complex PD patches.

know what I mean?

I know some audio cards do a better job laying off the CPU load, but they
aren't really separate DSP processors, right?

I dont suppose that these plug in DSP processors, such as UAD-2 can help on
that, anyway.
