gui-plugins won't get loaded if Pd is running in no-gui mode, so even
if the search-plugin would take ages automatically on start-up, this
won't affect batch-processing.

having said that, i'm all for not building the search-index on startup.
it might even be nice if the user had the choice to select (and
change) the behaviour
- - on startup
- - whenever search-plugin is used for the first time
- - never (that is, only when the user explicitely selects "rebuild
search index")

and generally it would be good if the user had the opportunity to
manually (wipe and) rebuild the search-index.
