[PD] [OT] user experience regarding usb soundcard with 8 in / out on linux

Also, the Traktor audio 10 (small and cheap, but RCA in/outs only and
8 of the 10 inputs are RIAA equalized for phonographs.)  Also, the
Tascam and the Presonus line are both said to be "compliant" (i.e.,
vanila USB devices) and should work without any fiddling.
