yes, you are right, there is a typo.
it's
git clone git://pure-data.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/pure-data/pure-data
(or git clone git://pure-data.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/pure-data/pure-data pure-data)


try
sudo apt-get install autoconf
