[PD] Compiling External for Linux

Awesome! Thanks so much hc.. successfully compiling externals on ubuntu
now.
I am wondering about the template.. there's probably no easy way for
cross-compilation to be achieved, is there?
Specifically I am looking to compile for armv7l.
