first of all: cool, great, thank you.
it's great that somebody picked it up again.
also, i quite like the idea of PdCon bouncing between continents.

as for the date: in Austria, courses start at the beginning of october
as well :-(
so i wouldn't mind if the date could be shifted.
i would go as far (even on the danger of being boohed) as to say that
i personally would not mind to see the next PdCon early in 2014
(but that's mainly because my schedule is tight; i would love to see
all of you again asap!)
