small amendment: i think this should be explicitely only for libraries
that are binary compatible with pd-vanilla.
judging from a recent thread, this would rule out pd-l2ork.

and i want to stress (in support of the above layout), that we/you
shouldn't try to invent yet another fiel system layout, but rather
stick to what we already have (mostly in debian)
