[PD] linux best for pd? / "best linux" for Pd? / On a Mac?

I'm invading this thread with a question that might have an obvious
answer...are you using boot camp to part your hard drive and install Linux?
All documentation of it mentions only Windows..
Is it the same or do you need to do something else?
