Have you checked out the Owl Pedal - http://hoxtonowl.com/ ?

You can run your own C++ and Pd
patches<http://hoxtonowl.com/2014/03/frankfurt-musikmesse-2014/>on the
device (it has stereo i/o and 4 parameter knobs).
