you've got 
[float]x[+ 4] 
with the output of the 4 going into the left inlet of [float].  should go to the right inlet.

i had a look, but i can't see where the overflow is coming from in that one. 
do you have other patches you can post, that might be to blame?

A continuous "Stack overflow" message is appearing in the console of my project. I think it had something to wiwith [metro] and [float] i have in my sub patches,, but I do not know how to correct it. I've included a screenshot of one of the subpatches/
