[PD] For sample players based on [line~], [vline~], or, [phasor~], how can we be sure all samples are being played?

Could you explain this better? If I create a glissando effect using 
[line~] and [osc~], I don't hear any of the aliasing you mention, only 
the expected result of a pitch going up. In which situations would these 
aliasing effects appear?
