[PD] pix_record to changing file name into the same folder

By the way, I want to use this patch on ubuntu 14.04. Is it possible? do I
need some quicktime library to be installed? If not installed before, than
do I have to recompile Gem to have QT support? Or pix_record supports avi
too?
