this will only work if the error actually produces the lock up.
if the error is just an indication that a lock up is happening, then it
won't help at all (and yuo only lose the comfort of the Pd-console).

otoh, it might well be possible that the error indeed is the culprit, so
it's worth giving it a try.


in any case, the cause of the error should be isolated (which object is
causing the trouble) and fixed.
